The three Catholic Perpetual Care Cemeteries are offering a 10% discount on pre-need purchases during the months of March, April, and May. This discount program is designed to help families plan now so that those left behind are not tasked with difficult decisions and costly expenses during their time of need. The San Ysidro Knights of Columbus Council is promoting the 40 Cans for 40 Days of Lent Drive. We are asking parishioners to donate one can of food for each of the 40 days of Lent. The food donations may also be a nonperishable food item in a sealed box. The food will be collected at the Church Vestibule, or may be brought to the Knights' Bingo on April 20. The food collected will be delivered to St. Felix Pantry.

Dynamic Catholic Parish Champion at San Ysidro Parish: Dynamic Catholic is an organization with a mission to re-energize the Catholic Church in America by developing world-class resources that inspire people to rediscover the genius of Catholicism. To keep our Parish aware of these resources, Chris Cordes will be a part of Dynamic Catholic Institute's (DCI) Parish Champion Outreach. What is a Parish Champion? Chris will pray for Father and our Parish intentions, and share with Father and the Parish Council FREE DCI resources we can use as a parish. Bingo held every third Saturday of the month after the 5:00 p.m., Mass on Saturday, in Hendren Hall.

Our 2019 Goal is $33,500.

So far, we have collected $46,093 in donations towards the $250,000 expense taken from our savings account for our parking lot. Please remember that you may donate directly to the Parking Lot Project by writing Parking Lot on your check or envelope. This will be greatly appreciated.

Raffle ticket sales will begin April 5-6, 2019, at all Masses, at both the front and back entrances to the Church. The raffle is offering cash prizes. Please consider supporting the Fiesta events. The Fiesta committee is looking for contributions for the Silent Auction. Please consider finding new homes for the treasurers that you know your children and grandchildren may not treasure, while helping the Church remodel the kitchen. Contributions should be delivered to the Church office by May 12, 2019. The Fiesta Committee is needing 5 pop-up tents and 8-10 coolers for the Fiesta weekend. The pop-ups will be used for the games and for the outdoor Mass. The coolers and pop-up tents will be returned to their owners after the Fiesta. These items can be dropped off at the Church office or the Hall by May 12, 2019. The Fiesta Committee is needing VOLUNTEERS to help serve, direct traffic, clean-up, etc.
