Order of Catholic Initiation for Adults
Participants in the OCIA are known as catechumens. They undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Holy Eucharist.

Classes will begin on Sunday August 20th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Registration Fee is $35.00.
Registation for 2023-2024 OCIA Class will close September 30, 2023.
Those wishing to register after September 30, 2023 will have to wait until our 2024-2025 class.
Catechumens will receive their Sacraments of Initiation on March 31, 2024 Easter Vigil!

Those wishing to become Confirmed in our Catholic faith enter a process that is know as Adult Confirmation. Candidates will undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments Confirmation.
Adult Confirmation is for those 18 years old and older.
You must have already been Baptized and received your First Holy Communion. You will need to provide copies of your certificates.
You must be a registered member at Catholic Church in the Albuquequer Area. Please contact your parish office for proof of registration.

A hard copy of your Baptismal Certificate is required before attending classes.

Candidates will receive their Sacrament of Initiation in April/May 2024 with our High School Confirmation class. We will share the date with you when the Archdioces provides it to us.
